iZap Recharges the iPod The iZap is a rechargeable battery for the iPod. This new product by ZAP (ZAAP.OB currently trading at $0.76) will be displayed at MacWorld 2008. The expo will run from Jan 15-18. ZAP CEO, Steve Schneider says “The iZap line is the off-shoot of ZAP’s research into a better electric car battery.” It will retail for $29.99 and include USB power out with a full set of power tips to fit most other electric mobile devices including cellphones, digital cameras, and other MP3 players.
